The Bluebirds have wobbled of late, failing to win any of their last three matches, but Burke is confident the Welsh club will soon hit top form again.
"There are nine matches left and a lot of points to play for," the 27-year-old told the Western Mail.
"We have to pick ourselves up for Saturday's match at Millwall."
City, who lost to Blackpool in last season's Championship play-off final at Wembley, are four points behind second-place Norwich.
