Burnley v City. Match preview

Saturdays win at Wolverhampton will mean so much more if City come away from Turf Moor with a result on Tuesday night.

It's too early to say yet if the Cardiff City bandwagon is turning after our first league win in 8 games but we have certainly put the indicators on and hopefully we can manoeuvre the old girl into the right direction. The Carling Cup win at MK Dons and Saturdays triumph has certainly boosted confidence.

Lennie will have the same squad to chose from before losing Graham Kavanagh and Alan Lee for the visit of Leeds on Saturday. Both having a one game ban for 5 yellow cards.

Lennie's one dilemna is whether to play loan signing Gary O'Neil from the start.

Steve Cotteril's Burnley threw away two goal lead at home on Saturday and allowed Stoke a 2 - 2 draw. At home they have won 1 and drew 3 of their 5 games played. 14 goals have flown into the net in those 5 matches with Burnley getting 8 of them.

Burnley have their own Pompey loan player, Welsh U21 and former Swansea defender Richard Duffy has signed on a month long deal.

Cardiff likely to be

Warner, Williams, Gabbidon, Vidmar, Barker, McAnuff, O'Neil or Boland, Kavanagh, Parry, Thorne, Lee. Subs Alexander, Collins, Bullock, Robinson, O'Neil or Boland.
