Busy week of manager moving in the Championship

The last week or so has seen three Championship managers get the sack.

Last Friday Norwich fired Alex Neil and they have yet to replace him. Norwick could still make a late charge for the play offs.

Struggling Wigan got rid of their manager Warren Joyce. He's been in charge for less than a season but defeat to relegation rivals Bristol City last weekend was a game too far.

Then Derby County sacked Steve McLaren (again). The Rams made a swift appointment and appointed Gary Rowett, the former Birmingham manager.

Rowett's first game in charge will be an East Midlands derby against Nottingham Forest. Ahead of the game Forest have hired Mark Warburton as their new manager.

Warburton did well with Brentford at this level and in his last job he got Glasgow Rangers promoted back to the SPL.
