Cahill. From Hero to Villain

"It's very disappointing" said Millwall boss Denis Wise. "I went in for a chat with the referee and told him with 15 seconds left in the game sometimes there are situations where you think about booking a player and stop to talk to him instead.

"He made two tackles and got two yellow cards. He's got no complaints about the first one but I don't know whether the second one was that bad. He's a bit gutted, as you would expect. Hopefully the referee will have a look at it. You are up and down in this game and at the moment he's down."

Millwall ended the game with 10 men but that was little advantage to Cardiff as it happened so late.

6 other players were booked. Ward and Lawrence for Millwall. Croft, Vidmar, Lee and Bullock for City.
