England U21's face France in a play off to qualify for the 2006 European Championships next summer.

Cameron Jerome has been named in Peter Taylor's squad along with Premiership strikers Darren Bent, Carlton Cole and Luke Moore and Norwich City's Dean Ashton.

Congratulations to Cameron who must be thrilled with the call up. He made his debut for England last month when he came on as a late sub and now he has the chance to be involved again. Former City loan player Gary O'Neil is also in the squad.

England are at home first at White Hart Lane on Nov 11th (7:30pm) and away in Nancy on Nov 15th (8:00pm).

NEIL ALEXANDER has not been selected for Scotlands home friendly against the USA in Glasgow on Saturday 12th November.
