Capaldi wants out

Capaldi started his 5th league game of the season last weekend in the defeat at Swansea but with having having returned from injury he's keen to get as much action as possible and if that means leaving Cardiff to get a regular place then so be it.

"I was happy to get the call to start against Swansea", said Capaldi.

"I've missed a lot of football over the past year, but I need to be playing regularly to get the best out of myself. I'm that kind of player.

"And to be honest I need regular football now. I cant just keep coming in every four or five weeks.

"I've spoken to the gaffer and well see what happens from here. If Im not needed and I have to move on then fair enough. Well see what happens in January."

Mark Kennedy has been keeping Capaldi out of the team in the left back role and it was at left midfield that Capaldi played against Swansea because of injury to Peter Whittingham.

"I would love to stay at Cardiff and play," he continued "but I might now just have to move on.

"The lads playing down the left have been doing really well too. It would be sad, but you do have to hold your hands up and say if its not meant to be at Cardiff, then its not meant to be."
