Cardiff City facing financial meltdown?

Last updated : 03 December 2007 By Michael Morris
To my simple mind Cardiff City owe Langstone £24m+ which was due to be paid back by 2016. Now Langston say they want the money immediately and are suing the football club for that money. A move that could see the club go out of business.

I'm assuming Langston feel that Cardiff City have not complied with the original agreement hence they are making their claim.

Sam Hammam is involved in some way. Is he Langston? Why is he speaking on their behalf? Peter Ridsdale's comments now are not as confident as they were a few months ago when we had a "watertight" case.

Surely Administration and or financial ruin will benefit no one. There are conspiracy theories abound as to who will come out best but for me, as a fan of the football side of things, the only solution is the continuation of my football club.

Both parties are due in court next Monday unless an agreement is reached before hand.

Here are the stories from today press.
