Club secretary Jason Turner is trying to find new opposition for Cardiff as their pre season tour of Scotland took a knock when 1st Division St Mirren called off their planned matches against Cardiff and Millwall for fear of trouble from rival supporters. As it stands the other games against Clyde on Friday July 26th and Motherwell on Sunday July 28th will go ahead as normal.

Cardiff open their pre season with a friendly at Merthyr on July 20th, the club travel to Scotland for an 8 day tour but there is a gap now caused by the St Mirren postponement. On returning from Scotland the club play Wolves at Ninian Park on Wednesday July 31st and Bolton Wanderers, again at Ninian Park, on Saturday August 3rd.
