Etuhu signed from Man City before midday on Saturday to make him eligable for the fixture.

Dave Jones will be without suspended defender Tony Capaldi.

The left-back was sent off in stoppage time of the 3-1 win at Plymouth on Tuesday night after picking up his second booking and will sit out a one-match ban.

Teenager Adam Matthews, who made his senior debut in midweek, will keep his place at right-back and Jones is hoping Mark Kennedy is fit again to return on the left in Capaldi's place.

Kennedy has been nursing a calf injury but should be fit. Midfielder Stephen McPhail is close to a return from a hamstring problem and could feature while Joe Ledley and Chris Burke have recovered from illness.

Gabor Gyepes is fit after a knee injury but full-back Kevin McNaughton (ankle) remains four or five weeks away from full fitness.

Scotland international Ross McCormack will be sidelined for between six to eight weeks with a hamstring injury.

Nicky Maynard and Danny Haynes are set to lead the attack for Bristol City in their clash at Cardiff on Sunday.

But Gary Johnson will not be able to call upon the services of Lithuania striker Andrius Velicka for the match after he suffered knee ligament damage five minutes into his debut against QPR on Tuesday and he has returned to Rangers, bringing to an end his season-long loan.

That means that Maynard and Haynes should start up front, although John Akinde and David Clarkson will be hopeful of forcing their way into Johnson's plans.

Louis Carey could make his return from injury after sitting out the win over QPR and last weekend's victory over Crystal Palace with a calf injury.

The Robins are unbeaten so far this season, with an opening day draw at Preston preceding their two wins in the last week.
