C:WindowsTempphpAF05.tmpCity go into tonight's Championhsip fixture with Hull City hoping to maintain an unbeaten record currently standing at six games. The last three games have been won so a victory tonight would see a four game winning streak.

Early team news:

Cardiff defender Lee Peltier is a major doubt for the home game against Hull.

Right-back Peltier sustained a dead-leg type injury on the inside of a knee during Saturday's home win against former club Huddersfield and was forced out of the action in the first half.

Boss Russell Slade could be forced to change his line-up for the first time in three games. Scott Malone replaced Peltier at the weekend and could return to the starting line-up.

Slade must decide whether to hand on-loan Newcastle striker Sammy Ameobi his first league start for the club after he impressed as a second-half replacement for Kenwyne Jones. Ben Turner (ankle) and Federico Macheda (back) are still out.

Hull boss Steve Bruce will select his starting line-up from the same squad that travelled to Brighton at the weekend.

Bruce has no new injury or suspension concerns following Saturday's 1-0 defeat but hinted he could make changes.

Striker Sone Aluko and midfielder Tom Huddlestone are among those pushing for recalls after starting on the bench at the weekend.

"We have to find the right away formula to make sure we're better than we were in the first half at Brighton," said Bruce, who is still without Shaun Maloney, Robert Snodgrass (both knee) and Adama Diomande (groin).
