Cardiff City v Leeds Utd. History on City's side

C:WindowsTempphp9C0D.tmpLeeds Utd last beat Cardiff in February 1984. Since then over 15 meetings Cardiff have been a bogey side for the Yorkshire outfit.

The following season, 84/85 Cardiff won at home and drew at Elland Rd and then followed an 18 year gap until January 2002 when League One Cardiff beat Premier League leaders Leeds in an absorbing FA Cup 3rd round tie at Ninian Park (pictured).

That started the demise of Leeds and over the next 12 years the teams have met 12 further times with Cardiff's record since 2002

Cardiff will be favourites to keep the record up when the teams meet at CCS tomorrow but Leeds may have a new manger confirmed today with Neil Redfearn set to be given the full time role (Leeds have already sacked two managers this seaon).

When Redfearn was in caretaker charge earlier in the season he did quite well but form and historyy are against today's Leeds Utd after just three points picked up from the last 18.
