Cardiff City v Sheff Utd. Team News

City are forced into at least one change this week as Steve Thompson is
suspended after a red card at Bristol City last weekend.
Thompson has been upfront alongside Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink but now Jimmy will have a new partner for the game against Utd. It will most likely be
former
Sheffield Wednesday stiker Steve MacLean but we might see the veteran strikeforce of Hasselbaink and Robbie Fowler.
Fowler has been on the bench for City's last two matches as he recovers from a hip injury.
Trevor Sinclair is still ruled out through injury and I think it's too soon
for Ricardo Scimeca. Rumours are he is full training but he's not played all
season.
No other injuries or suspensions to report.
The line up is likely to be
Schmeichel, Gunter, Loovens, Johnson, McNaughton, Parry, McPhail, Ledley,
Whittingham, Hasselbaink and MacLean.
Subs from Oakes, Purse, Rae, Capaldi, Ramsey, Fowler.
Sheffield Utd: Defender Gary Cahill has returned to
Aston Villa following a successful loan spell at Bramall Lane; Chris Morgan is likely to take his place.
Striker Rob Hulse is still gaining match fitness in the reserves since he broke his leg at
Chelsea last March; the former Leeds forward won't be back in first
team action until the new year at least!
Possible Blades Line-Up (442): Paddy Kenny, Phil Bardsley, Chris Morgan, Matthew Kilgallon, Gary Naysmith, Keith Gillespie, Michael Tonge, Nick Montgomery, David Carney, James Bettie, Billy Sharp.
