Cardiff drawn away in FA Cup

Chasetown celebrate a famous result
It will either be League 1 Port Vale on non league Chasetown.

The two sides drew this afternoon at Port Vale in what was a shock result. Chasetown are 5 levels below Vale in the league pyramid. They ply their trade in the Southern League Division 1 Midlands.

You may remember they were live on the TV a couple of years ago when they held Oldham Athletic in round 1 of the FA Cup at their home ground of Church St in Burntwood, Staffordshire. They lost the replay 4 - 0 at Boundary park.

If they were to beat Port Vale it's unsure if they'd be allowed to face City at their 2,000 capacity home. Should Port Vale win then no problems at Vale Park for a large Bluebird's following.

Chasetown took 1981 fans to the Potteries today. They made up more that a third of the overall attendance at Vale Park.

Match report here.
