After the 1 - 0 defeat at Leicester just 21 days ago Cardiff were 6th, 2 points ahead of 7th place and 12 points behind 3rd place Forest.

The superb results in the last 5 games see Cardiff now in 4th place, 8 points ahead of 7th and just 5 points behind Forest. Cardiff go to Forest on Monday but first a South Wales derby against Swansea at the CCS.

Both games are live on TV.

Cardiff v Swansea
Saturday 3rd April, ko 5:20pm
Sky Sports 1 and in HD.

Nottingham Forst v Cardiff
Monday 5th April, ko 5:15pm
BBC 2 and BBC HD

We enter the last six games of the season as genuine play off candidates. It's there for Cardiff to lose now. We saw the remarkable heartbreak last season when we blew an almost impossible lead to miss out by one goal. The two games this weekend won't be easy, I would say they are games that City must avoid losing with any win a bonus.

We need to look elsewhere as well. Blackpool are the team in 7th, 8 points behind. Doncaster are 8th, 10 points behind.

Today (Friday) Blackpool are away at Scunthrope. Tomorrow Doncaster are at home to Plymouth. Crucially though they play each other at Bloomfield Rd on Monday. Therefore both sides can't get maximum points over the weekend.

May I wish all Bluebirds a verry Happy Easter and hopefully by 7.30pm on Monday we'll be full of football cheers as well as chocolate eggs.
