Cardiff open up at home to Southampton

Cardiff City kick off the final campaign at Ninian Park with a home fixture agianst Southampton on Saturday August 9th. At the moment no fixtures have been changed but there will be changes when Sky and the police get involved.

City's last scheduled game at Ninian Park is against Ipswich Town on Saturday April 25th. Of course that may change if we make the play offs.

This season we will face Swansea City for the first time in a few years. The first game between the sides will be at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday November 29th the Ninian Park encounter is not until April 4th, 2009. The matches will be bubble trips for travelling supporters.

The way the days fall at Christmas mean we only have two holiday games. Boxing Day, Friday Dec 26th we are away at Reading then two days later on Sunday 28th December we entertain Plymouth.

The season ends on Sunday May 3rd with a trip to Sheffield Utd.
