There's no confirmation from Cardiff City but the Swindon Chief Executive Nick Watkins has revealed

"I got a call late Wednesday evening from Maurice Malpas to alert me to the fact that Miguel, after much deliberation, has decided to go to Cardiff.

"It's a great disappointment for us all to lose a player of his quality and standard, but he feels an opportunity in the Championship is too good to resist.

"He had a fabulous offer to stay, we did everything we could within our power to encourage him to stay with the club, but in the end the lure of the Championship was too great."

Comminges won the supporters Player of the Year award at Swindon for this current season but has rejected a new contract offer and is set for a move to the Championship.

The 26 year old Frenchman has played 32 games this season for the Wiltshire side as they are set for a mid table League 1 finish.
