Cardiff v Blackpool. Match preview

Last updated : 28 October 2008 By Michael Morris
City drew 1 - 1 at Bloomfield Rd on a blustery Saturday afternoon with Blackpool scoring a 95th minute equaliser.

The weather tonight is forecast to be cold so wrap up warm if you are coming to Ninian Park.

City are waiting on the fitness of Mark Kennedy and Darren POurse. Both players were subbed on saturday at the City Ground and if they fail to make it Miguel Comminges and Gabor Gyepes are ready to step in as they did on Saturday.

Joe Ledley should be fine after playing 70 mins of his comeback match following a few weeks off with a hamstring injury picked up in the game at Blackpool.

It's kids for a quid at Ninian Park tonight with full paying adults able to bring children in for £1 (max 2 kids). It applies to season ticket holders as well (contact the ticket office 0845 345 1400 for details).

City are at home twice this week. Tonight v Blackpool and on Saturday in the live TV game agianst Wolves. Two home wins would see the Bluebirds edge closer to the top of the table.

Up front tonight Ross McCormack will go looking for his 10th Championship goal. The young Scot has already scored 9 in just 13 games. Plus he has one in the Carling Cup as well.

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson will check on the fitness of Steve Kabba, who is nursing an ankle injury.

Fellow frontman Steve McPhee (calf) looks certain to miss out.
