Cardiff v Brentford. Match preview

Last updated : 08 April 2017 By Michael Morris

C:WindowsTempphp20DC.tmpCardiff will be without in-form defender Sol Bamba for the home clash against Brentford.

The Ivory Coast international was carried off during the 0-0 draw at Barnsley earlier this week after suffering a groin injury.

He subsequently underwent a scan and City boss Neil Warnock has now confirmed that Bamba will not be available for Brentford's visit.

Goalkeeper Allan McGregor, meanwhile, suffered an ankle injury during the Barnsley encounter, and while Warnock confirmed that the bruising has decreased, he will not take any unnecessary risks, with Brian Murphy a possible starter.

Brentford have doubts over Nico Yennaris, Ryan Woods and Maxime Colin.

Yennaris picked up a hip injury against Leeds on Tuesday and fellow midfielder Woods suffered an Achilles problem.

Defender Colin missed the 2-0 midweek win with a calf injury and remains a doubt.

Alan Judge is back in training after recovering from a broken leg but will not be ready yet, and Josh McEachran is still out with an ankle injury.
