Cardiff will not appeal Harris red card

Cardiff City will not appeal against the straight red card given to Kadeem Harris for a foul on Brentford's Alan Judge.

“I was lucky to escape that tackle without being injured,” said Judge.

“Kadeem is not that sort of player and we both went in looking to protect each other, but it was lucky my leg was off the floor or, touch wood, I would have been looking at a broken leg.”

Harris will miss three games starting with tonight's home match with Bournemouth.

Federico Macheda, also sent off, will be suspended just for tonight's game after his red card for two bookable offences.
