Catch up: Late transfer window activity

Last updated : 06 September 2016 By Michael Morris

C:WindowsTempphp4872.tmpApologies for the tardiness of my updates. The transfer window closed last week and there was a flurry of City activity.

There was quite an exodus with keeper David Marshall the big name exiting the club. He signed a deal with Hull City.

City finaly got Federico Macheda off the books by terminating his contract.

Also going out, but only on loan, was Adam Le Fondre. He joined Championship side Wigan.

City also loaned out Rhys Healy. The young striker moved to Newport County.

So that looked to be that as the deadline clocked ticked down. Only 20 minutes remained when news broke that Cardiff had signed striker Rickie Lambert from West Brom. Lambert has signed a two year deal with the Bluebirds.
