Celtic lead the way for Ledley's signature

A move to Scotland would be bad news for Cardiff who would get no fee for the player they have developed since he was a kid.

Likewise a move to any other club outside of the English system. Ledley's next trip is claimed to be to Rome today to meet AS Roma officials.

A number of EPL clubs are also keeping tabs on the Welsh international. Cardiff City would get compensation if he moved to a Premier League side.

Cardiff City are also hoping to keep hold of their man. It seems as though Joe is looking at the options before deciding where to play his football next season.

Roma and Celtic can offer European football, Roma have qualified for the Champions League while Celtic play a qualifier to get into Europe's top competition.

Promotion to the Premier League by the Bluebirds would almost ceratainly have kept Joe in Cardiff. The lad wants to better himself though and after missing out on a move 18 months ago to the top level he may not want to miss the boat this time.
