Two impressive comebacks saw Dave Jones' Sheffield Wednesday score in the 90th minute to draw 2 - 2 at Derby (Jones is unbeaten since taking over at Hillsborough) and Gianfranco Zola's Watford snatched a 3 - 2 win at Crystal Palace with a 95th minute strike. They were losing 2 - 1 with 3 mins of normal time remaining.

Tuesday's oponents Brighton lost 1 - 0 at Hull while relegated Wolves were beaten 1 - 0 at Leeds and Steve Keen saw his Blackburn side draw at Ipswich.
