City 5 points clear as Birmingham slip up

Last updated : 01 October 2006 By Michael Morris
Two cracking wins scoring 7 goals and conceding none and at the same time teams like Birmingham were only managing to pick up 1 point from 6.

We have opened up a 5 point lead at the top of the table and we now have a two week break from the league programme.

City's next game is away at Crystal Palace on October 14th. Palace are in 5th place having picked up 7 points from the last three games. It promises to be a cracker at Selhurst Park.
