Morning leaders Wigan let slip a 2 goal lead at home to Peterborough. The point earned by the Latics took them to 20 points but it allowed Q.P.R., Oldham and City all to level up the points.

Rangers pulled off a cracking 3 - 1 win at Bristol City and they go top. Wigan then are second while Oldham go third after winning at Colchester.

City are 4th after the win at Notts County but the Bluebirds haved played a game less. We can go three points clear at the top if we win at Plymouth on Tuesday.

Crewe are 5th after a 2 - 0 home win over Tranmere. City play the Railwaymen next Saturday at Ninian Park.

6th place belongs to Blackpool, the seasiders won 3 - 2 at home over Port Vale. City are at Blackpool in 4 weeks time. Sandwiched between the Crewe game next week and the Blackpool game City have the little matter of visits to Spurs and even more importantly Wigan.

At the bottom are Mansfield. 10 games played incredibly 32 goals conceeded. Earnie must be counting the days until he gets his chance against them.
