City likely to be unchanged.

"Instinct says rotate, but logic says leave it alone, be careful."

Lennie Lawrence is pondering over his team selection for tomorrow's clash at Notts County.

"We've had a tiring programme which has taken a lot out of the players and the match against Brentford was worse than usual because it was such a physical battle due to the referee. There was an awful lot of physical contact and that can be tiring. We also have a re-arranged game at Plymouth Argyle next week and the cuptie against Spurs when other Second Division teams aren't playing. They are things we have to consider. We have to weigh up whether to rotate the players in anticipation of them becoming to tired to play at their maximum or wait until players possibly lose form. If you go the first way, change things and lose people will point the finger, while if you go the second and wait you have to ensure you don't lose because of waiting too long." Lawrence told the Echo

Lennie will keep a close eye on the players as they travel to Nottingham today but an unchnaged line up is expected.

City then would line up Alexander, Weston, Prior, Gabbidon, Croft, Boland, Kavanagh, Whalley, Legg, Thorne and Earnshaw. Subs Margetson, Barker, Maxwell, Leo FW and Andy Campbell.

5 goals in 3 games
City have won the last three games on the trot, the 5 - 1 Worthington Cup match followed by two home league wins. City have adopted a lopsided 4 - 4 - 2 system. The midfield leans to the left with Andy Legg a left winger / left sided attacker as needed. The link up between Legg and Gary Croft at Left back has been superb and they pose continual threats down the left hand side. Peter Thorne and Earnie will be eagerly waiting for the perfect deliveries from Legg so they can capitalise. Earnshaw is on fire at the moment, 5 goals in the last three games, he is so full of confidence.

Lennie has the option of Leo and Andy Campbell if he wishes to rest either Thorne or Earnshaw and by next weekend we could see Jason Bowen staking a claim for a place in the squad.
