City entertain Racing Santander on Saturday July 31st and to bring a team like Lazio to the Capital would be a huge draw.
"Lazio Football Club will be touring in the UK, and we will take in two or three friendly matches during August," A Lazio spokesman told the Echo.
"Cardiff City Football Club have contacted us and I think we will play Cardiff.
"We are still in talks, but hopefully we can arrange something."
