City have been linked with 19 year old Honduras striker Alberth Elis.
Wales Online are saying that Cardiff are reported to have contacted Elis’ agent Daniel Solis and spoken to his club Olimpia about a possible £1m deal.
Elis is set to play for Honduras in the upcoming U20 World Cup. He has a senior cap already after playing against Mexico in 2014.
Two weeks ago Elis was reported by the national press to be a target for Roberto Martinez at Everton. Martinez has previously signed Honduran players while at Wigan namely Maynor Figueroa and Wilson Palacios.
