City looking for second place. Div 2 preview.

Leaders Wigan are at home to Blackpool. The Tangerines are a tough side who have beaten Cardiff already this season and last week held Bristol City. Any points they can take off Wigan will be a bonus.

Crewe in second are at Griffin park to play Brentford. Brentford play again next Tuesday at Bristol City, they could do us a favour by stalling both Crewe and Bristol in consecutive games.

Cardiff City in third place, are only one point behind Crewe and a win for the Bluebirds and a failure to win by Crewe (who have drawn their last two games) will see Cardiff move into second place and still have a game in hand.

Oldham in 4th place are 2 points behind Cardiff having played a game more. They are at home to Plymouth, also a tough game.

Bristol City are 5 points behind City, they are also at home, to Colchester.

QPR, the team in the final play off place are at Northampton. The Cobblers have not scored at home since last November losing 6 straight games, it would do City no harm at all if Northampton could pick up some points from QPR, it keeps them far enough back.
