City now 6th. Division 1 review

Last updated : 13 September 2003 By Michael Morris
Top of the table are West Brom. After a stuffing at Walsall on the opening day the Baggies have won 5 in a row. One time City target Rob Hulse scored twice as the Midlanders added more woe to Ipswich.

Second place are Wigan. The team thought to be favourites for the drop are flying high after a 4 - 2 win at Wimbledon.

Then come three of the Divisions big hitters. West Ham (1 - 0 winners over Reading), Sunderland (2 - 1 winners over Crystal Palace) and Nottingham Forest (3 - 1 winners over Shff Utd).

In 6th place are the mighty Bluebirds.

Can I mention Nottingham Forest's David Johnson, the striker has broken his leg and will miss the rest of the season, best wishes to him.

7th and 8th are Reading and Sheff Utd. Funnily enough our next two opponents.
