City now in 8th place after weekends games

City have dropped three places to 8th in Division 2 after a full second division programme was played out this weekend. Leaders Brentford only managed a goalless draw at home to Luton and Wigan, thanks to a 3 - 0 home win over Wycombe have gone top with 15 points. City are in 8th with 11 points and a game in hand.

The game in hand is against Plymouth who are on 13 points in 3rd place. What a match that promises to be, Home Park on Sept 24th will be a real top of the table clash.

City face two home league games in 3 days next week. Stockport, currently 9th and Brentford currently 2nd are the visitors to Ninian Park on the 14th and 17th of September respectively.
