City pick up trio of Football League awards

Over 900 guests inc Dave Jones and Peter Ridsdale watched 19 awards presented on the evening.

Three of the awards went to Cardiff City.

Chris Gunter was named Apprentice of the Year in the Championship.

Joe Ledley's goal on the opening day of the season at Barnsley was named Goal of the Year.

The club also won an award for "Best Use of New Media"

Congratulations to Chris Gunter, Joe Ledley and the club for their achievements.

"Chris is made to go all the way to the top, he's a great athlete who has good pace, delivery and passing skills," said Dave Jones.

The Championship Player of the Year Award went to Jason Koumas.
