City have 2 games in hand on Reading in 3rd and Sheff Utd, currently 4th. City have three games in hand on almost all of the rest of the top half of the table.

The match against Watford at Ninian Park this evening is the first of four consecutive home games (on Sunday Sheff Utd come to Ninian Park). The Bluebirds have a superb home record and will need to contunue that to cement a play off place and keep alive a hope for an automatic place.
