City stay 9th as Palace falls to the ground

Last updated : 02 October 2003 By Michael Morris
Last Saturdays visitors to Ninian Park, Crewe, went down 2 - 0 at Coventry City. Next Saturdays opponents, Crystal Palace were thumped 3 - 0 at West Ham Utd.

Preston were 1 - 0 winners at Nottingham Forest.

Crewe were the only side who could have altered our league position but their defeat keeps them below the Bluebirds.

West Ham's win has moved them up into 4th place.

Crystal Palace were early leaders of the 1st Division winning their opening three games, since then they've not won and have lost 4 out of the last 5.
