Danny Thomas scored the only goal of the game as a young inexperienced reserve team picked up three Avon Combination points at Layer Rd this afternoon.

Mark Walton and Des Hamilton provided the experience in the team but apart from Andrew Jordan and Kristian Dimond the rest of the squad were youth team players.

The victory ends a run of three games without a win.
