Come on City. Cardiff that is. Big match preview

Be prepared for nail-biting tension and a strain on your emotions.

For the neutral - play offs, and the semi finals in particular, are always great to watch. For the supporters of the teams involved it's a totally different experience.

Cardiff start the match with a 1 - 0 advantage. Simply do not lose tonight over 90 mins and Cardiff will go to Wembley. But I'm sure there will be a few twists and turns. Leicester have to score. They welcome back big striker Steve Howard tonight after suspension and you know for sure if they need a goal desperately then Howard will be the target as they'll look to put pressure on David Marshall. I think Leicester will try to play first but they will bombard City if they need to.

I'm hoping that Cardiff come out and play their normal game, treating the match as 0 - 0 City have the potential to wrap things ups with an early goal or two that, with the goal already in the bag, will prove to be too big a mountain for Leicester to climb.

Anthony Gerrard is definately still ruled out and there is a doubt over Chris Burke. Dave Jones is hopefull Burke will be fit but if not Ross McCormack is likely to start out wide. No other changes from Sunday's side are expected.

Full back Mark Kennedy believes City will approach the games in their usual manner

"Our approach remains the same. We will not try to protect what we have," said Kennedy.

"We have every confidence in the way we defend and every confidence that we can score. OK, we are not Brazil, but we can score goals.

"We are going out to win, not think of extra time and penalties, but if that happens we will deal with it.

"We score a lot of goals, but we are solid as a team defensively too.

"Our back five is a team within a team. If we keep a clean sheet we will win the game and we are confident we can do that.

"But the guys up front will be working hard and our midfield staying solid. In that way our approach will not change."

The CCS has sold out this evening with Cardiff expecting their biggest ever crowd at the new ground, topping the 25,630 when Newcastle came last September. Even the whole of the Premier seating (the upper tier on the main grandstand) has sold out. The atmosphere will be electric.

If you have to collect a ticket then please get there early as it's inevitable queues will form.

The match is live tonight on Sky Sports and in HD.
