Martyn has invested over £1500 in flights for him and his wife to return to the city of his birth to see the opening game of the 2007 / 08 campaign.
"When we got Robbie i decided there is no way i could miss the Stoke match" Martyn told me.
"I came to South Africa in 1981. I am married to Julie who was born in Barnsley and whom i met in Zambia. We have two children."
