"We didn't move the ball quick enough. The forwards are unable to bring the midfielders into the game and the midfielders aren't passing the ball well enough. We can't cross or pass the ball under pressure. We produced precisely nothing going forward and that's a massive concern."

"I've been at Cardiff nearly three years and this is the first time we've been toothless going forward. In the last two or three games, we've been bereft of ideas in the opposition's penalty box. We played with a lot of commitment and effort. To be fair, we defended well, apart from when we conceded the goal.

"We battled, but that's all we're doing at the moment."

"We definitely wanted revenge. That play-off defeat is still in the hearts of every QPR player who played in that game. We've still got a few players here who played in the final and that game was brought up before this one.

"The fact we were playing Cardiff brought back memories of the play-off final. It was on my mind. That was one of the biggest games I've ever played in. We played our hearts out that day. We were the better team but Cardiff got the goal and went away with the win. That's why it was so upsetting for us.

"So we were really looking forward to this game. We've been fired up for it all week."
