1,800 Cardiff City fans will join a near sell out home crowd to produce one of the atmosphere's of the day anywhere around the football league.

Joe Ledley is hoping the occasion doesn't get to him or force him into any rash tackles that could see a red card.

"It's a big game as it's a derby," Joe told the Echo. "Bristol City have done well, but had a couple of bad results lately and it's going to be tough game.

"I know that the Cardiff fans will give him (Trundle) stick, they will be on his case that's for sure, especially after what he did a couple of seasons back at the Millennium Stadium.

"And no doubt he will be doing his best to score against us, so we need to be on our guard.

"It's nothing to do with me, that's up the fans. As a player I need to concentrate on trying to beat Bristol.

"My friends try not to talk to me about football, but I'm sure they will know how I feel going into a local derby.

"I know that I've got to keep a cool head and not go flying into tackles or I'll get sent off, and that's no good to anybody, but there is an edge to derby matches."
