Could Swansea fixtures give a clue to City's schedule

C:WindowsTempphpDA89.tmpOk so this is a bit nerdy but it's quiet Cardiff Citywise at the moment.

The release of the Premier League fixtures yesterday may have given Cardiff fans a clue as to where City will start and end the upcoming season.

Swansea and Cardiff are usually kept apart on matchday when one side is at home the other is usually away. There have been incidents where both have played at home at the same time but generally they are opposite.

So with Swansea starting their season away at Burnley on Saturday August 13th it's likely Cardiff will be at home that day meaning the week before, when the Championship kicks off City are most likely to be away (as the first two games of the season are never home / home or away / away).

Looking at other key dates through the season Swansea are at home on Boxing Day, New Years Eve and on May 6th (the final day of the Championship season), suggesting that Cardiff will be away on those dates.

We will know for sure next Wednesday, June 22nd when the full Championship fixtures are released.
