Crazy day in the Championship

Last updated : 10 February 2018 By Michael Morris

Wolves placed another toe into the Premier League with a 2 - 1 win over Q.P.R. but it was below them that the real drama happened. Thankfully for Cardiff City Derby, Fulham and Bristol City all drew and all three sides had led.

The result of the day came at Ashton Gate where Sunderland came from 3 - 0 down to draw with Bristol City. Two of their goals were own goals by the Wurzels, the last of them coming in added time.

Sheffield Utd beat Leeds earlier in the day to keep in touch with the play offs.

Cardiff are now 6 points clear of 7th place and three points away from second* but crucially with a game in hand.

*Aston Villa play on Sunday and could extend that gap
