Curry and Kettle take control

Trevor Kettle from Berkshire is the referee for Saturday's clash at Oakwell between Barnsley and Cardiff.

Continuing a kitchen theme one of his assistants is Mr P Curry. The other is Mr N Greenhalgh.

The 4th official is D Plowright.

Trevor Kettle is taking charge of only his 2nd Championship game of the season. His first was the 2 - 2 draw between Watford and Coventry on August 14th.

Last season his only Cardiff game was the 4 - 3 City victory over Sheffield Utd at Bramall Lane.

He's issued 14 yellow cards in 6 games this season so far and last year handed out 102 yellow cards in 35 games. Incredibly not one red card in those games.

Looking back his first Cardiff game was back in January 2005 when City beat Burnley at Ninian Park.
