"I think it's the best we have played away from home for two or three games and we should have been more than one goal up at half-time - we came out like a house on fire.

"With more clinical finishing we could have quite easily come in two or three up and the game would have been over.

"Results seem to have gone for us again today and we have given ourselves another opportunity.

"It just puts us back in the mix and that was why it was important to get three points - and that's why I set my team up to attack and go and get them.

"We've taken nine points out of the last 12 and if we could take nine out of the next three games, then anything could happen.

"We still have to rely on other results going for us and other people slipping up - and it seems that it is going to be us and Wolves chasing down the pack. If anyone makes a mistake, then hopefully we can capitalise on it."

"I thought Micky Evans could have scored in the first minute after some good work from Pericard.

"Doumbe hit the post and it dropped to Nalis, and I thought he was going to score, but they managed to block his effort.

"We were waiting for the net to bulge, but it didn't happen - we need to be more ruthless.

"After they scored, I thought we dominated the game, but they were a threat on the break with Jason Koumas' ability on the ball and Jerome's pace.

"I thought we were a little bit off the pace in the first half, but the second half was very different with 95% of the play down Cardiff's end.

"The statistics say we've only scored three headed goals this year and that's a poor return for the amount of balls we get into the box."
