"I did not think we turned up in the first half, we were lethargic and did not do anything.

"Second half, in front of our own fans, we had to give it a go but it took us 45 minutes to wake ourselves up.

"I was a bit angry at half-time and the players dared not come back in at full-time unless they got at least a point.

"When we got our first goal Southampton were very nervous and we played on that.

"To come to a place like this and fight back from 2-0 down feels like a victory."

"I would have liked to get three points tonight because it would have moved us ahead of Cardiff in the table, but there is still all to play for.

"We are not out of the promotion race and have a big game against Colchester on Friday night, which we need to win.

"We have three or four key players out and I think that had an effect on the game."
