Dave Jones says Barnsley will be tough

Ironically Davey is a Jack and he'd love nothing more than to put out the Bluebirds. He told Sky Sports News.

"You would say we wanted to avoid the Premier League side but we'd beaten two in the previous rounds so it's going to be a tough game for both teams. We're both trying to get into a final and it'll be a fantastic occasion.

"They're a good side. We played them at home this year and drew 1-1. They play very good football and we know it's going to be a tough game.

"But we've got to be confident after beating Liverpool and Chelsea. There's light at the end of the tunnel for both teams and we fancy our chances. We're 90 minutes away from an FA Cup final."

"They're Swansea's biggest rivals and being a Swansea lad it'll always be nice to put Cardiff out. I'm sure there'll be a lot of Swansea fans cheering me on."

Also speaking on Sky Sports News (we've had so much coverage on there today) Dave Jones admitted it'll be tough.

"It would not have mattered who we drew, all four clubs would have been quite happy to play each other in the semi-final of the FA Cup so we are pleased.

"We have a tough one and I said that in the last round and the round before that. We know each other inside out and hopefully we will come out on top and I am sure Simon will be thinking the same.

"Anybody you play in our division is a tough battle and they have come off the back of two fantastic victories over Liverpool and Chelsea so they won't fear anybody.

"We have played well yesterday so we are looking forward to the game."
