Rumours throughout this evening that Norwich were trying to sign Craig Noone.
There were suggestions that a £2m bid was rejected, then a bid was said to have been agreed before reports late on say any deal has been called off.
With no official mention by either Norwich or Cardiff we may never know exactly what was going on.
There was a rumour that two Everton youngsters, Conor McAleny and Matthew Kennedy, could have been on their was to CCS. But there's been no news on that as the 11pm deadline passes. Although this tweet from Phil Kirkbride of the Liverpool Echo suggests it could still happen.

Early suggestions that Nicky Maynard had had his contract terminated before a move to Bristol City appear to be untrue. Maynard is currently injured.
City were also said to have had a bid for Massimo Luongo at Swindon turned down.
