Could Earnie be coming home?
Reports on Tuesday evening suggest that Earnie may even have already had a medical and could by Malky Mackay's next summer signing.
Earnie, recently Wales captian, is out of contract at Nottingham Forest and has been loosely linked with a move back to Cardiff over the past few weeks.
They say never go back but as a squad striker Earnie offers so much. A typical fox in the box.
