Expected team line up for tonight

Chris Barker who came on for the injured Andy Legg is set to continue in left midfield. Lennie contemplated switching Barker with Croft but it's thought Barker will play left midfield.

Legg's exclusion from the 16 on duty on Saturday means a place for Gareth Whalley on the bench.

City are expected to be

Alexander, Weston, Prior, Gabbidon, Croft, Maxwell, Boland, Kavanagh, Barker, Thorne, Earnshaw. Subs. Margetson, Hamilton, Whalley, Leo FW and Campbell. The 17th man to travel and set to be the unused play is Jason Bowen.

Actual team sheets will appear on the website around 5 mins before kick off.

Mansfield should include one time City loan player Tony Vaughan. Vaughan played for City during the 1999/2000 season and was close to moving to Ninian Park from Man City. The clubs could not agree a fee though as Man City were looking to recoup some of the £1.3m they spent on him from Ipswich. Vaughan is on loan at Mansfield from Forest where's he's been 6 months without a game at first team or reserve team level.
