FA Cup final. Cardiff v Portsmouth

Last updated : 08 April 2008 By Michael Morris
The realisation that we have made the FA Cup final must now be sinking in. If we thought a semi final earned us a fair bit of coverage then the build up to the final itself will be massive.

The match is still several weeks away and before then City have 6 games left in the Championship starting with a trip to Ipswich tomorrow.

There has been no details yet for ticket allocations and ticket sales for the Wembley showdown.

The club are meeting Portsmouth, Wembley, etc etc later this week. We expected between 22,000 and 25,000 tickets for City fans. That considerably less than the semi final. There are many more corporate tickets and hand outs to the various football clubs etc for the final. Less tickets means the club will have to come up with a system to distribute them fairly.

One of the only sure fire options to guarantee a ticket is to buy a seaosn ticket for next season at Ninian Park. Many have teaken that option already to get semi final tickets and the move has been so popular that the allocation of Bob Bank Terrace season tickets has sold out.

Watch this space for ticket details when it's announced.
