Cardiff City Council have together with the Police, Harbour Authority and BBC Wales organised the event which will have free admission at Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff Bay. This is the area in front on The Millennium Centre that leads down to the waterfront.

Upto 7,000 people are expected to attend the live screening of the FA Cup Final from Wembley Stadium on Saturday March 17th.

Admission is on a first come first served basis with the event on between noon and 6pm. All the build up will be shown live along with the match. Alcohol and other refreshments will be nearby but no alcohol will be allowed to be taken onsite.

"I'm sure the atmosphere will be electric," Lord Mayor Gill Bird told the Echo.

"This is a huge occasion for the city and if fans weren't lucky enough to get their hands on tickets for Wembley, then surely this is the next best thing.

"We want to make sure that as many people as possible who want to have the chance to watch the match in a family-friendly environment can come along and see the Bluebirds take on Pompey."
