Forest under pressure. Championship round up

Last updated : 12 April 2005 By Michael Morris
If they lose at home to Sheffield Utd than they will stay 7 points behind City with a much inferior goal difference. Forest lost heavily on the weekend at home to Plymouth who are now just about safe.

City's defeat by Wigan on Saturday was soothed slightly by defeats for Forest, Coventry and Watford. Brighton only managed 1 point. Gillingham are looking a form team under the control of Stan Ternant. They won at home on the weekend but stay in the relegation mix.

With Rotherham down there's a battle between 7 teams for two relegation places. Forest are odds on favourites to take one of the remaining places leaving 6 teams to battle it out for one place. The teams in freefall are Crewe and Watford, Brighton's form is poor while City, Gillingham and Coventry have managed some wins over the last few weeks.

Last weekends results were (inc last nights Wolves win)

Sunderland 1 Reading 2
Brighton 1 Leicester 1

Millwall 4 Crewe 3
